For the first time ever I have poison ivy (not fun)! This morning we were asking for your help with home remedies or whatever. Plus, I didn't like roll around in poison ivy or rub up against a tree so I was trying to figure out how I got it.

at least he didnt pile them up and try to burn them where the poison smoke gets inhaled into the lungs....that can happen and its not a good thing

that benadryl gel works great and i just read a hair dryer will stop the itch just blast the area for a few seconds and they said it stops the itch the site had lots of user commens said it worked cause it dries it out.

I've heard lemon juice will help to break through some of the oils (poison ivy is oil based). Also rubbing salt on it will help with the itching.

Poor Jack! I did like Bryan and burned some brush and got it in my eyes. NOT FUN! My home remedie: Go to the doctor and get the good stuff that works.
